Can you name your 2 favorite Ballistics phone apps?
  • Your favorite FREE app ?
  • Your favorite PAID app ?

Naturally, I'll start.

Free -- Sniper Calculator (Android 5.1) - I like the graphic interface
Paid -- I don't use a paid ballistic app right now, but when I do at some point it will be the Sniper Calc Pro version and the JBM Ballistics App, and maybe the Shooter App. - I've tried the Strelok Free Version and it seems good, I'm just not crazy about the interface and data input.

I also keep this link to Bullet Calculator on my phone (I have to turn the phone sideways and finger zoom in to the data input fields, but it works) and on my computer to print out the bullet path and keypoint numbers for certain caliber and ammo before going to shoot.

No favorite free app, never used one.

Applied ballistics for paid app.

That website won't help you the first time you find yourself at a match with no cell service.
Every time you make a typo, the errorists win.

True enough. But I use the website at home to print out the caliber, load, and bullet data, then take the printout(s) with me to the range to use as a starting point for different ranges. I have never used it on the fly at a range, but I like having the link in case something changes or the data is too far off. If there is no service, oh well. I'll just take my best guesstimate and go from there. It's not like I'm a pro or anything.

Thanks for your input.
