Did you get these emails...... Here's what we have provided previously. I'm a local and will be RO so let me know if you need any info:
You will not need a holster. Any handgun in good, safe working condition. There are no requirements on sights or calibers other than between 9mm and 45ACP. If a piece of steel doesn't fall because of wimpy loads, you don't get points. Any Ammo that pokes a hole in my steel will get you sent home. Remember there are speed limits on Ammo and we have the chrono ready. I plan on having a 100 yard paper Tgt and a few pieces of steel for the Zero range out to around 700 yards or so. ONLY THE TARGETS FOR ZERO RANGE! Shooting match targets gets you sent home.

Hello My Friends,
I did secure a hotel discount for you guys at the Crown Plaza. All you have to do is mention you are part of the New Mexico Precision Rifleman's Championship to get the rate.
We are working on stages and it looks like you are in for some good challenges. Somewhere around 220 rifle rounds or so and 25-50 handgun rounds. Registration and Zero on Friday 1400-1800, IN THAT ORDER, sign your wavers before going to the zero range or they will not let you shoot.
Saturday and Sunday will be FUN-FILLED and ACTION PACKED, so bring some snacks and whatever else you want to stay energized and hydrated. New Mexico at the ZIA Rifle and Pistol club is at 5500 feet elevation, so you may not feel like you need water, but YOU DO! We are planning on feeding you a Sandwich, chips and apple for lunch on Saturday and dinner between the end of shooting and awards Sunday. There will be some obstacles, but nothing CRAZY. I do plan to have water for you to drink. PLEASE throw your trash in a trash can! I have been warned that this event is not to add ANY clean-up expense to the range or the event will not be allowed any longer.
I have gathered up a good crew of ROs for the match and I REQUEST you give them great respect. Address them with gratitude and patience. Some do not participate in the great sport of precision rifle, but have agreed to help with the match anyway. I did have two ROs tell me they wanted nothing to do with the "PRS gamers" which troubles me. I'm sure none of you are who they were speaking of, but let's be on our best behavior and not be that type. Don't mess with the ROs, they will not get to have the fun of shooting the match like you and will be tired of me by then, so they may have a short fuse. I'm the person to gripe to or complain about anything, ONLY ME! We are going to have a lot of fun...
We have some great sponsors and many more to come, I hope! Some of the sponsors are coming to the NM PRC and this will be their first experience with the PRS, so let's welcome them well, so they want to do more with the PRS. Most who are coming are my personal friends and are very cool people, who will engage in conversation with you and ask questions. Some are shooting the match and may need a little help. We will operate within the PRS rules (on the precisionrifleseries.com site), so PLEASE be familiar with these rules before you show up.
There are a few spots left for self squadding, so first come first select. If self squadding fills up before you get a chance to squad yourself, don't worry, I'm going to squad you. You will be squadded with some of the coolest people in the sport. The last few that I squad will be last minute, to keep the squads balanced. If you are sharing a vehicle with someone on another squad, it isn't a big deal as you will all be within a short walk from your friends.
There will be seven shooting areas with 3-5 stages in each area. I will point all areas out when we brief Saturday morning. There are plenty of shooters who have shot these areas before, so I don't believe there will be any trouble. We all help each other in NM, so just ask if you have any questions. We want everyone to have a safe match and have a great time. I will worn you that muzzle discipline and any bullets leaving any barrel without the shooter being aimed in on target will be a match DQ. I'm sure we won't have any of this happening, with this heads up, but if for some reason you are that person...Learn from the mistake, handle it like a professional, keep a positive attitude and if you want, you can help others have a great time by helping the match staff and cheering on others. (I've been there!)
I'm sure I missed something, but hopefully you are ready to come have some fun...SAY A PRAYER FOR BEAUTIFUL WEATHER! If you have any real questions, ask me
I look forward to seeing all of you and watching you guys and gals hit a lot of the targets
