Hi..  I failed to register as a BWRS member prior to them closing down registration.

If there is a "slot for sale" posted on the site, am I eligible to to purchase as a non member?

Thanks

It depends on the slot for sale.

Slots that were purchased by members, during members-only registration, are only available for sale to members.

*IF* no member buys it, then it would be available to the general public.

Slots bought during open registration are available for sale to anyone.

Since all matches so far have sold out during member-only registration, you would need to be a member to buy the slot.

At least this is my current understanding at this time, based on discussions with Jim See and some of the MDs.

Thanks.. that was my understanding as well.

So how's a guy know if the slot for sale is member / non member  selling?  And if a member slot goes unsold (individual trying to sell), at what point can a non member purchase if there is no interest by any other member?

Well, as I said, for the first two matches at least, they both sold out prior to be open to general public sales, so they would be members-only initially.

As for your other questions, I don't have an answer to that.  Let me direct Jim & crew to this post for discussion.

The goal is to provide as much access to members as possible so obviously a member slot should go to a member. One exception is time sensitive sales. At this point we are a day away from a match, my feeling is that if you find out you can not attend within 3-5 days of the match put up a slot for sale add up on this forum under BWRS. AND SELL IT TO WHOMEVER  WANTS IT FIRST.  That SELLER must contact the MD thru a PM hear or on facebook and let the MD know who is taking his spot.

Pretty easy, Lets not make this more complicated than it needs to be.
