Dry fired off hand/unsupported. 2" target at 70yds. 2 shots each, standing, kneeling, sitting, prone. 20 times. First 10 w/o a timer, last 10 time limit of 60 seconds. 60 seconds is hauling ass. I can see where I broke the shot giving myself a hit or miss.

Three things I focus on when doing this drill. Take short/shallow breathes, keep my sight picture/cheek position while racking the bolt, pull the trigger as soon as I'm on target.

An interesting drill..  I'll have to give it a try, I have a few objects 75 or so yards out the back window that would work.

Today I shot a 5-round group match on paper at 420 yards.  Not my best showing, but I haven't shot groups on paper since like May.  Next one of those is in a month, I'll get some practice in before then.

Shot lots of awkward positional stuff in my basement with my air rifle.

Hey, quit practicing, I don't need that!

At work, dreaming of shooting and/or dry-firing.

You can't dry fire at work?  I do.  I thought everybody could!  :D

I shoot in my backyard with my rimfire at 50yd off a barricade if it's fairly calm out if not then I shoot left handed prone. I need help with quick wind calls so I figure it helps me in 2 ways.

Did some dry fire drills using the I.O.T.A. lense cap. Pretty cool that you can shoot basically any range as long as you have a picture!

Shot 3 sets of kyl dot drills prone at 100 yards (12 shots).  Did some barricade work at 420 yards (15 shots).  Did some positional work at 100 yards (5 shots each standing, kneeling, sitting).  Finished with some pistol work (50 rounds).

That's a solid training session. I need to be structured like that.

Yesterday, I dry fired a bit, positional and off a barricade. Today, I hope my rings are in to get the Razor 2 mounted up and sighted in.

Ate some steak. Then dry fired. Prone, kneeling, sitting. Focused more on kneeling, I suck at it. But practice makes perfect! I do alot of mental visualization at work (some would call it day dreaming) . I take my range finder, and guess how far a certain object, then range it.
