Just sent you a message and face palmed when I realized you had a Defiance. AM considering possible getting a Deviant CRF  with 3 POS or BigHorn Arms TL3. Do you have any experience with Bighorn Arms to compare?

Sorry, can't help you with any of that.  Not a crf fan, nor a barrel nut fan.

I will admit to being MUCH more of a BigHorn fan. They run a little more clearance between bolt and receiver so they run better dirtier, and the bolt manipulation is lighter and easier. I've also seen far better consistency between the BigHorns than Defiances. Sad to say, I've had some not very good Defiance receivers through the shop lately. Little stuff that we were able to overcome but still shouldn't have that with a top tier manufacturer.
