Hi everyone,

Here is some general info on the Northwest Precision Rifle League.  If you have any questions feel free to ask.

The matches in the series are all ran at the discretion of the match directors.  If you have any questions regarding a specific match, please contact that match director.

The Northwest Precision Rifle League (NWPRL) is a voluntary points tracking and ranking system designed to give shooters in the region the opportunity and the ability to compete against one another in a regional series format with a season finale match hosted by the NWPRL.

Shooters scores from each of these matches will be tracked throughout the season and the top shooters from each division will be invited to the finale. The finale match will be hosted by the committee members at a Rock Lake Rifle Range, St. John, WA on November 12th-13th, 2016. Shooters will be ranked on total score from their best three recorded matches.

In order to qualify for the finale, shooters must record at least three qualifying scores.  Only two scores may be recorded from the same location. There will be 2 separate divisions; Open and Limited.  Shooters who average above 80% on their best three scores or win any match that is counted in the series will be considered in the Open division, all others will be in the Limited division.   The season finale will be comprised of the top 35 competitors in the Open division and the top 35 competitors in the Limited division.

Series points will be based on a 100 point scale which uses match position and shooter attendance.  The match winner will receive 100 points and all others will receive points based on their match position combined with shooter attendance.

Once again, shooters will be scored on their best 3 scores; shooters may count only 2 scores from any single location, they must shoot at least 2 different locations to achieve 3 recordable scores.

All qualifying matches for the 2016 season will be announced on the NWPRL’s Facebook page athttps://www.facebook.com/nwprecisionrifle and on  www.65guys.com/nwprl

Any questions please email to:

League Rules:

A committee will be established consisting of a Director, Assistant Director and five board members. All decisions pertaining to the NWPRL will be decided by the committee and approved by the director and assistant director. Committee members will be appointed by a majority vote of the existing committee members.

Director: Kevin Dittoe

Assistant Director: Eric Blais

Committee Member: Scott Satterlee

Committee Member: Doug Glorfield

Committee Member: Travis Woodbury

Committee Member: Alan Harper

Committee Member: Jeremy Bentham

There will be two divisions for shooters:  Open and Limited

There are no equipment or caliber restrictions for either division with the exception of individual match directors holding caliber restricted matches i.e. .308 only matches.  Shooters who average above 80% on their best three scores or win any match that is counted in the series will be considered in the Open division, all others will be in the Limited division.

All one and two day individual shooter matches in the region (Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana) are eligible to count with a maximum of 3 counted matches at any location.  The director or assistant director will approve / disapprove all participating match locations with an emphasis on maximum location and shooter participation.  No group, club or location will be denied without good reason.

Match directors may submit their calendar of events to the board for consideration of adding their matches to the NWPRL series schedule.

Matches must have a minimum of 20 shooters to be counted for series points.

Match directors will collect $5.00 per shooter, in addition to their regular match fees, for any match that is counted in the NWPRL series.  These fees will be forwarded to the NWPRL for use as administrative funds (insurance, website, etc.).  These funds will not be used in any personal way by the board.

Match directors will submit, in a timely manner, the final scores from their matches to include shooters full names, scores, and final positions.

Shooters must record 3 qualifying scores in order to attend the finale.  Only 2 scores may be recorded from any one location.

The finale match will be hosted by the committee members at a Rock Lake Rifle Range, St. John, WA on November 12th-13th, 2016.

At a minimum, the top 35 shooters in each division will be invited to compete in the two-day series finale.

Shooters will compete for overall series standings, as well as placement at the finale match in their respective divisions.  Awards will be given out in order of series placement and finale placement.

Do you have a 2016 schedule yet?  If so, could you please post it?

Thanks!
